At Fluid Maintenance Australia our core competencies include the provision of full service on site by experienced FMA technicians. Our technicians are trained and qualified to service and maintain hydraulic hoses and fire suppression systems throughout mobile equipment, fixed plant and infrastructure.

FMA has long term contracts with a number of mine sites around Australia, the majority of which are in the Pilbara area of WA.

In support of this we supply hydraulic and industrial hose, fittings and associated equipment, fire suppression systems and related parts and consumables.

We recommend Parker hose and fittings as a leading supplier to the industry and can supply these and other products and assemblies at competitive prices to the mining industry.

Our head office, warehouse and workshop is situated in Jandakot WA and incorporates a hose cell, an area which can be utilised to service equipment off site and prepare hose kits to customer requirements.

To ensure our technicians are trained to a high standard FMA has established itself as a Registered Training Organisation.

Hydraulic Hose Fitter

Fluid Maintenance Australia is a dynamic fast moving company servicing some of Australia’s largest companies in the mining industry. We offer a complete on-site mine hydraulic hose service providing trained and certified hose fitters, supply of hose and fittings, hose pressure testing and fitting the finished product. We also offer on-site Fire Suppression Service with qualified technicians, installations and overhauls.

We are seeking experienced hose fitters with some new upcoming projects.

We are seeking a highly motivating, skilled person with reliable work ethic and good customer service skills. You will be part of a close team, a self starter with the ability to work autonomously and as a team player.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide technical support to the customer for all hydraulic and industrial hose applications.
  • Assemble and fit Hydraulic hoses
  • Carryout hydraulic hose audits on mobile equipment
  • Stock control
  • Maintain fire suppression systems and associated equipment on mobile equipment

Requirements:

  • Mining Industry experience & knowledge in hydraulic & industrial hose assemblies
  • Proven experience working in a similar role
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills
  • Willingness to work as a team member
  • Good communication skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent literacy and numeric skills
  • A current drivers license
  • Clearance of a drug and alcohol screening

Desirable:

  • Fire suppression experience
