FMA offers a complete Fire Suppression Service providing trained and certified Fire Suppression technicians, supply of hose and fittings, cylinder pressure testing, fire suppression system installations and overhauls.

The service we provide is fully compliant to AS 5062 – Fire Protection for Mobile and Transportable Equipment and AS 1851 – Maintenance of Fire Protection Systems and Equipment while combining the knowledge and experience of qualified fire suppression and hydraulic hose technicians.

FMA has been providing high quality solutions and innovations for hydraulic systems and we are now applying this to our Fire Suppression division. We bring new standards to Western Australia by applying industry leading practices such as MDG 15 – Guideline for Mobile and Transportable Equipment for Use in Mines and MDG 41 – Guideline for Fluid Power System Safety at Mines.

Audits and Surveys

An annual audit of your fire suppression system should be completed to ensure the integrity, effectiveness and suitability of system performance.

Servicing

Servicing of fire suppression systems is completed in the same manner as testing but may also include servicing to customer requirements and to implement preventative maintenance schedules.

Fire Risk Analysis

Determines the risk of fire to your machine, what is the best solution to mitigate the risk and the most appropriate type and configuration of a fire suppression system.

Testing

Like any equipment Fire Suppression systems need testing to ensure there operation, all testing should be completed in compliance with AS5062 – Fire protection for mobile and transportable equipment and OEM specifications.
